Method of information classification based on hierarchical tags and its implementation on the example of a family archive

The contemporary methods of classifying information are examined and their benefits and limitations are analyzed. Classification of heterogeneous information based on hierarchical tags is suggested, and the set of the problems for which this kind of classification is possible and suitable is analyzed. The implementation of the suggested approach in the program “Family archive” is examined.
