Linguistic aspects of informatics

Abstract: The given paper considers informatics as a science about language transformations. The essence of these transformations consists in the modelling of transitions from the complex multicomponent and layered system of natural language to the language of binary codes (analysis) and in the opposite direction — from languages of machine level — to high level languages and natural language (synthesis). Considering the linguistic aspects of informatics it is important to realize that language, understood as some linguistic device (natural or artificial), acts simultaneously as an instrument and an object of research and development. In all completeness the problem of language transformations modelling rises at creation of the systems of machine translation and extraction of knowledge from natural language text. When designing language processors different logical grammar rules systems and probabilistic mechanisms are used.
