Abstract:
The article presents a methodological approach to the selection of key performance indicators (KPI) for evaluating information and technology (IT) organizations. The value of KPIs in assessing the effectiveness of organizations is shown. The main approaches to the selection of the nomenclature of KPI, including the types of such indicators and requirements for them, are presented. The proposals have been developed on the KPI nomenclature in relation to IT organizations. It is suggested to use three types of indicators: target, functional, and financial. The proposals on methods for calculating individual indicators are formulated.
