Abstract: We consider solving the problems of predicting changes in the defining characteristics of composite materials and structures under the influence of extreme environmental factors. As such determining characteristics, we can take the residual life, reliability, and durability of composite materials and structures. We study the application of combined methods for finding the extremum of multiparametric performance indicators for solving inverse problems of predicting the determining characteristics of composite materials and structures based on complicated models.
The question of the most effective design of the combined approaches by implementing several methods for the solution of inverse problems of forecasting the defining characteristics of composite materials and designs is investigated.

Keywords: composite materials, composite structures, problems of prediction, extremum seeking, combined methods, defining characteristics, residual life, reliability, multivariable indicators of efficiency, durability.
