Abstract:
We prove that for a piecewise monotone piecewise
$C^{2}$
map
$g$
on an interval, the value
$h_{\text{top}}(g)$
can be approximated for any required accuracy by restriction on a strictly
$g$
-invariant hyperbolic (repelling) set.
