Abstract:
In mathematical modeling of chemical processes prime step isthe sensitivity analysis of the kinetic curves to the rate constants of steps. The analysis of the kinetic model sensitivity to variation of the rate constants of individual or all steps makes it possible to estimate the effect of a certain parameter on the function under consideration and differentiate between key parameters of the model and those that exert a negligible effect on the solution. Sensitivity analysis can be applied to reduce the system. The results of the local and global sensitivity analysis with respect to the oxidation of formaldehyde.
