Local exponential splines with arbitrary knots

Abstract: We construct local $\mathcal L$-splines that have an arbitrary arrangement of knots and preserve the kernel of a linear differential operator $\mathcal L$ of order $r$ with constant coefficients and real pairwise distinct roots of the characteristic polynomial.
