Memories of Nikolai Nikolaevich Krasovskii

This note presents my memories of Nikolai Nikolaevich (Nick) Krasovskii. They concern some episodes from my life related to him. The memories are mainly about his hobbies of literature, poetry, theater and cinema, sports and chess. I remember his lessons with gratitude — they were lessons in the truest sense of the word. I am very grateful to the editors of the journal “Trudy Instituta Matematiki i Mekhaniki UrO RAN” for the opportunity to share my grandfather's memories on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
