Abstract: This paper is about the XV school-conference on group theory dedicated to the 95th Birthday of M. I. Kargapolov. The paper contains biographical information about M. I. Kargapolov, a survey of principal events held at the school-conference and the list of open problems posed by the participants with comments to these problems.
