Asymptotic behavior of the second eigenfrequency for a system of two bodies connected by a thin rod

Abstract: The matching method for asymptotic expansions is applied to construction of the acymptotic for the second vanishing eigenvalue in the problem associated with the system of two bodies connected by a thin rod.
