Analytic properties of the amplitude and behavior of the differential cross section in the region of large scattering angles

Elastic scattering processes in the region of large angles are considered in the framework of the generalized reaction matrix method. A power law decrease of the cross section is a consequence of the analytic properties of the amplitude. The angular dependence of the cross section is calculated.
