Interaction of point sources with a Higgs field in one-dimensional space

The interaction of external static point sources with a Higgs field is considered. For a single point source, there exist three regular and one singular solutions. For two point sources, there are infinitely many solutions. In both cases, there are bifurcation points, infinitely many in the second case.
