Solution of the Schrödinger equation by unitary iterations

Abstract: An iterative scheme is proposed for constructing complete systems of functions that satisfy the Schrödinger equation to a given accuracy. The scheme is applied to the high-energy approximation when the contribution of the partial-wave amplitudes with large orbital angular momenta is appreciable.
