Abstract:
The high-energy behavior of the “meson-nucleon” scattering amplitude in the scalar
model $L_{\mathrm {int}}=g\psi^2\varphi$ is studied by functional integration. The sum of an infinite class of
diagrams inwhich a “meson” interacts with a “nucleon” and goes over into a virtual
“nucleon-antinucleon” pair state leads to a modified eikonal form of the scattering
amplitude.
