The $R$-operation in the $\lambda\varphi^4$-theory as a consequence of an indefinite metric in the extended space of states (lowest orders)

Abstract: It is shown that the iterative solution of the Heisenberg equations of motion for the operators of creation and annihilation in the quasi-Fok space [1] automatically lead in the first two orders of perturbation theory to the field renormalized by a certain $R$-operation. Thus, the expressions for the constant $\delta m^2$ of the mass renormalization and the constant $Z_3$ of the wavefunction renormalization are finite in the quasi-Fok space.
