Current algebra, pole dominance, and meson-baryon interactions

The hard-pion method proposed by Arnowitt and others is generalized to a system containing nucleons and the $\Delta(1236)$ resonance. Expressions are found for the effective interaction Lagrangians which enable one to calculate the amplitude of different meson-baryon reactions.
