Strengthening of Singer's result on absence of global gauge fixing

It is proved that in non-abelian gauge field theories the gauge orbit principal bundle cannot be reduced to any finite-dimensional Lie group. This is the exact characterization of the topological nature of Gribov ambiguities and the enhancement of the well-known; result by Singer on non-existence of global gauge fixing.
