On the pairing of electrons in superconductors

Cooper pairing is considered for electrons in an isotropic superconducting electron liquid with a spin-dependent electron-electron interaction effective potential. By means of the self-consistent field method by N. N. Bogoliubov it is shown that in the corresponding approximation the pairing takes place for electrons with the same helicity. In the quasiparticle excitation spectrum there are two different energy gaps.
