Abstract:
Electric charge of a phase soliton is calculated in the Peierls dielectric in the presence of the electron-electron interaction. It is shown that the value of the charge is connected with the phase change of the charge density wave on the soliton $\Delta \varkappa$ by the relationship $q=\Delta \varkappa/2\pi(1+\delta)$, where $\delta$ is the constant of forward scattering.
