Zeta-function method in field theory at finite temperature

R. V. Konoplich

Abstract: Zeta-function technique is used to calculate the one-loop quantum corrections in the field theory at finite temperature. High and low temperature expansions of the effective potential and temperature corrections to the free energy of nontrivial classical solutions such as domain walls and strings are obtained.
