Gauge fields and correspondence principle

Abstract: A method is proposed for constructing gauge theories with Weyl fermions satisfying the correspondence principle. The additional terms in the Weinberg–Salam Lagrangian are found in an arbitrary gauge. The part played by the Higgs and Goldstone fields in the presence of anomalies is discussed.
