Abstract:
The Coulomb problem for negative and positive binding energies is considered by means of the quasipotential approach. Numerical calculations made for the example of a scalar model lead to the conclusion that in the relativistic Coulomb problem there exist quasistationary levels that have properties close to those of the narrow electron-positron resonances observed in heavy-ion collisions. The possibility of using the obtained results to interpret the observed narrow dibaryonic resonances is discussed.
