Abstract:
The method of single-time reduction of the Bethe–Salpeter formalism for two-fermion systems developed in [8] is used to obtain analytic expressions for the potentials of quark–quark and quark–antiquark interactions in quantum chromodynamics in the approximation of one-gluon exchange. The asymptotic properties of the quark–quark forces in the configuration space are investigated. A dynamical equation is obtained for the wave function of a meson as a bound state of a quark and an antiquark in the approximation of one-gluon exchange.
