Imbalance of energy-spectrum branches in nonequilibrium two-band superconductors

A system of kinetic equations describing the nonequilibrium properties of a superconductor is obtained on the basis of a two-band model in the semiclassical approximation. The spatial distribution of the longitudinal electric field in the superconductor is calculated for the case when there is interband scattering by an impurity in addition to electron scattering by phonons.
