Localization and delocalization in the paramagnetic phase of the transverse Ising model

The localization and propagation of excitations in the Ising model in a transverse field are studied. For the case of a long-range exchange potential, a calculation is made of the localization boundary and the relaxation rate of spin excitations in the paramagnetic phase. The results are compared with those of other authors.
