Abstract:
We present a brief review of the $SU_{\mathrm c}(3)\otimes SU_{\mathrm L}(2)\otimes SU_{\mathrm R}(2)\otimes U(1)$ left–right symmetric gauge model. We discuss a possibility of detecting the right-handed $W_{\mathrm R}$ boson and a heavy neutrino in pp collisions at the Large Hadron Collider. We present restrictions on the masses of the $W_{\mathrm R}$ boson and the heavy neutrino obtained using the analysis of experimental data from the CMS and ATLAS detectors with a total energy of colliding protons of $7$–$8$ TeV.
