Quantum effects in the transverse dielectric permittivity of a Maxwellian plasma

Abstract: We obtain an explicit analytic expression for the transverse permittivity of Maxwellian plasma. This expression considers quantum effects due both to spatial and frequency dispersion and to the presence of an intrinsic magnetic moment in the plasma particles.
