Abstract: The paper presents investigation of intercorrelations between the index of value-intentional consensus invented by the authors and psychodynamic personality traits. The Schwartz Values Inventory, the Ammon Ego-structure Test, and the questionnaire “Life Style Index” were used in the research. Decrease of differentiation of rank hierarchy on a level of normative ideals and a level of individual priority was discovered for persons with the value unbalance. Authors analyze correlations the index of value-intentional consensus with constructive and destructive psychodynamic traits in the personality model. The paper shows a positive correlation, which mediated by destructive aggression, between the index of value- intentional consensus and mechanisms of psychological defense.

Keywords: correlation, value consensus, Ego-structure of personality, differentiation of value hierarchy, destructive aggression, mechanisms of psychological defense.
