An analysis of HIV-positive persons' risky behavior in their adaptive style models (based on interviews obtained from the St. Petersburg Aids-Center patients)
Abstract:
The paper presents preliminary results of the research of HIV-positive people adaptive potential. The obtained statistical data form a basis for the development of the HIV-positive people's behavior models in order to study the impact of this behavior on Public Health security (especially on the HIV incidence rate). These models are intended for the development of methods of indirect measurements of the HIV infection transition risk. The discovered links between HIV-positive people's risky behavior and their adaptive styles will allow to plan and establish rational goals for the behavioral interventions among HIV-positive people.
