Abstract: The concept of interaction of two binary factors in the experiment with a binary outcome is considered. A mathematical model is developed for two binary factors within the sufficient component cause framework. A formalization of the binary experiment is provided in terms of Boolean functions theory. Axioms of symmetry of the interaction in binary experiment is focused and formalized as automorphisms over corresponding free Boolean algebra. Complete classification of interaction types in binary experiment is presented as well as their geometric interpretation.

Keywords: sufficient component cause framework, binary factors' interaction, Boolean algebra, square symmetry group, group action orbit.
