Abstract: This article presents situation-oriented databases (SODB) and an approach to processing documents in applications based on the hierarchical situational model. SODB at this stage is the repository of the documents and part of the NoSQL databases direction. The storage is mapped on heterogeneous documents and processed in the context of the current situation.
In this regard, it is required to simplify the queries and set them in an intelligible form for the virtual array of documents (VAD). This offers a structured description of documents sets by means of special parts of the model called entry-elements. All entry-elements have a unique name and semantic carry part of the model; they can also be used in other parts of the model. Due to the use of entry-elements the principle of invariance is observed, including when a change mapping does not influence the part of the virtual document processing model. Structuring of virtual multi-documents in SODB by using entry-elements is done on PHP-platform at the SODB project website where code examples are available.
