Abstract: Currently, crowd computing is gaining popularity. However, the quality of results obtained by means of crowd computing is often unpredictable, and that fact puts limits on the practical applicability of this technology. Therefore, systematization of information about modern methods for quality control in crowd computing is an important task that can pave the way to new research efforts in this area and therefore widen the scope of its applicability. The paper discusses the results of systematic literature review of journal articles from ScienceDirect and IEEE Xplore bibliographic databases, published after 2012. The paper also identifies main directions in crowd computing quality control, corresponding models and assumptions. In particular, it shows that most scientific attention is concentrated around consensus methods and game theoretic methods.

Keywords: crowd computing; human-machine computing; crowdsourcing; social computing; human-machine systems; human factors; systematic literature review.
