The bounds for the power of $C(\alpha)$-tests and their applications

Abstract: The present paper gives the upper and lower bounds for the power function $\beta_n(\xi,\theta)$ of $C(\alpha)$-tests introduced by J. Neyman in 1959. Some applications of these bounds are also discussed.
