Some statistical problems for quantum fields

Abstract: Some statistical results for quantum fields are obtained in the framework of algebraic approach to quantum theory. Linearity of optimal statistical procedures such as smoothing, predicting and mean estimation is established for Gaussian (quasi-free) states of Bose fields. It is shown that linear statistical problems for Bose fields lead to an integral equation, which is a regularization of the corresponding classical one.
