Hypoentropy as an Index of Diversity

Abstract: We consider a measure of the diversity of a population based on the $\lambda $-measure of hypoentropy introduced by Ferreri [1]. Our purpose is to study its asymptotic distribution as well as its application to testing hypotheses.
