Abstract: Let there be m samples each of the size $n$. The null hypothesis is that the distribution in every sample is of the normal type whereas the alternative hypothesis is that it is of the uniform type. It is shown that the number of observation necessary to distinguish these hypotheses with the prescribed accuracv rapidly decreases as $n$ increases.
