Turbulence and turbulent viscosity in jet flows

Abstract: Experimental data on various characteristics of turbulent jets of fuel flowing into an air-filled space are used for calculating the scale of turbulence and for demonstrating that this scale is a universal parameter of flow both in the presence and in the absence of diffusion combustion of fuel.
