Abstract:
Based on an analysis of the results of experimental studies of the heating and destruction of rubberlike materials under the action of a high-temperature, two-phase flow, a method is proposed to specify the depth of thermal destruction of a heat-shielding coating under a layer of a deposited condensed phase at the end of operation of the power setup operation. Additional coking and thermal expansion of the residual coating thickness during setup cooling are taken into account. A new approach to the verification of the presence of thermal expansion of the thermal protection material with heating below destruction temperatures is proposed.
