Abstract: The paper presents the results of numerical studies of the influence of water injection on the parameters of detonation and deflagration waves in gas fuel mixtures. A simplified physico-mathematical model of the process is developed. The influence of the injection of water droplets on the structure and the minimum propagation velocity of a stationary detonation wave is calculated numerically, and the mass fraction and the initial diameter of water droplets that lead to detonation damping in a hydrogen–air fuel mixture are obtained.
