Reduction of the complete system of chemical kinetics equations for multicomponent high temperature gas flows based on the partial local equilibrium method

Abstract: The paper presents a method to reduce the complete system of equations of chemical kinetics from a large number of equations to the final one, which can be solved with available computing tools without a noticeable loss of accuracy, e.g., to model chemical combustion reactions. The paper presents the theory and examples of the application of the partial local chemical equilibrium method for the calculation and modeling of subsonic and supersonic flows of reacting media for the reduction of kinetic schemes of complete chemical reactions in the case of incomplete local chemical equilibrium.
