Abstract: In this study, we have determined the specific heat of an aluminum alloy AB1 $(\rm Al + 1$ wt $\%\,\rm Be)$ with lithium in cooling mode from the known specific heat of a reference copper sample. Equations that describe the cooling rates of samples of AB1 alloy with lithium and a reference are obtained. The temperature dependences of the specific heat of the alloys and the reference are formed based on the calculated values of the cooling rates of the reference and the samples. The temperature dependences of the changes in the enthalpy, entropy, and Gibbs energy of the AB1 alloy with lithium are calculated through integration of the specific heat. The specific heat, enthalpy, and entropy of the AB1 alloy increase with increasing lithium concentration and temperature, and the Gibbs energy decreases.
