Abstract: The features of probe measurements on a hypersonic aircraft, the design of the probe block and its location on a hypersonic aircraft, and the processing technique of the obtained current-voltage characteristics are discussed. Original processing techniques are proposed, and some results of probe measurements, covering both the plasma parameters in the combustion products of a liquid propellant rocket engine and the parameters of the plasma arising at supersonic speeds near the hypersonic aircraft wall, are presented.
