Abstract:
The features of a two-phase vapor-droplet flow in a convergent-divergent (Laval) nozzle are studied in the quasi-one-dimensional formulation with allowance for phase transitions. The effect of the governing parameters (the concentration and diameter of dispersed drops, etc.) on the mixture flow was studied in a wide range. The calculations were performed for both subcritical and critical mixture flows. The regularities of a two-phase mixture flow in different critical flow regimes are examined. The effect of governing parameters on the critical (maximum) mixture flow rate is analyzed.
