Abstract: The problem is considered of injection of water into a high-temperature porous medium through a permeable boundary. Various injection modes are investigated, which depend on the initial parameters of the thermal reservoir and heat-transfer agent (water). Analysis is made of the impact of capillary forces on the effect of «spontaneous imbibition» of water.
