Abstract: A procedure is suggested for numerical calculation of stability of plane nonisothermal flow of gas in a channel. The problem is solved for the first time on the development of small disturbances over the entire length of plane channel under conditions of laminar flow of gas of variable physical properties. The pattern of development of both longitudinal and transverse components of disturbance velocity is analyzed. The difference in the development of disturbance between the channel and boundary layer is demonstrated. Data are obtained on the impact of compressibility and heat transfer to the channel walls on the characteristics of neutral disturbances and on the beginning of perturbation of stability.
