Flow characteristics in the wake of a large moving particle

Abstract: The characteristics of a flow formed behind a large particle moving in a descending turbulent air flow in a duct was measured using the PIV method, which makes it possible to record the instantaneous velocity fields. Data on deformation of the field of the instantaneous air velocity in a turbulent wake behind a large particle are presented and analyzed.
