Abstract:
A brief description is given of a multifluid model of gas-droplet flow in view of collision of droplets. This model is used to numerically investigate the variation of the dispersion of gas-droplet flow with a large fraction of liquid in a relatively long nozzle. The calculation results confirm the experimentally observed weak dependence of the dispersion of droplets in the flow core at the nozzle outlet on the diameter of droplets at the nozzle inlet.
