Abstract: Induced nonlinear oscillation of a bubble cluster in a liquid-filled spherical resonator is studied. Two methods of affecting the resonator wall by pressure are treated. The first method involves an induced periodic variation of pressure on the resonator wall, and the second method involves the "basketball" mode of pumping energy into the bubble cluster. The cluster efficiency from the standpoint of attaining high temperatures is analyzed.
