Effect of the concentration of particles on their clustering in an isotropic turbulent field

Abstract: A statistical model of clustering (accumulation) of monodispersed particles in homogeneous isotropic turbulence taking into account absolutely elastic collisions has been presented. The effect of collisions on clustering of particles has been analyzed in a wide range of variation of their concentration, inertia, and size.
