Abstract:
The paper considers the main principles and results from using a new approach toward the development of optimal (in the aspect of the accuracy and volume of computations) models for the radiation spectrum of flue gases. This method is based upon the idea of merging spectral strips. An algorithm to select the optimal parameters of a spectrum model is presented. A method for the optimal adjustment of the parameters of a multistrip model is described. Variations of the integral radiation capability of carbon dioxide, steam and their mixture with gas temperature are given for three values of partial gas pressure on the path of a beam. The integral absorbing capability of the components mentioned is also given.
